But as beautiful and breathtaking as those scenes were, one section of the exhibit really caught my eye, for a very different reason.

This one room crystallized something that the few successful internet marketers and product creators already know…

...but that a lot of the clueless masses don’t.

Instead, the masses stumble around in the dark, stubbing their toes on tables and chairs countless times, cursing all the while…

...when they could be super successful, if they only knew where the light switch was!

The room that I’m talking about didn’t have paintings of landscapes, or calm, pastoral countryside.

There weren’t any rich, vibrant flowers or serene, innocent villagers going about their daily routines.

No, these paintings had something that you’d never associate with the French Impressionist masters:

That’s right--big, ugly, smoke-billowing factories.

They were even more beautiful than a lot of the “traditional”-style paintings I had seen earlier that day.

You see, the impressionists didn’t view factories as ugly, or dirty, or polluting.

They saw them as progress.

They saw them as magical places that could output tons and tons of useful goods that would help people throughout the country.

The best part?

These impressionist masters were able to show exactly these concepts through their paintings!

The factories became moving mechanical wonderlands. You could almost smell and taste the smoke pouring out of the smokestacks.

It wasn’t bitter soot--it was more like the comforting smell of a cozy fireplace, assuring everyone around that progress is no longer “around the corner”--it’s now.

These masters were so good at their craft, they could fully render something objectively “ugly” as something moving, in every sense of the word.

They made these hulking, brick-and-mortar buildings into not just characters, but grand, iconic heroes pointed toward the future and prosperity.

And I came to the powerful realization:
